Canoe Chips

Eli got to pick his "Back to School" meal, and after his first actual day of school yesterday, we had his requested meal: chili (that is "not too hot, Mommy"), with turkey dogs, carrots, and canoe chips.

Apparently Eli has decided that Fritos SCOOPS! look like little canoes and are perfect for eating chili with. I couldn't agree more, Little Man. What a fun meal, and I never would have thought this is what he would pick. I would have thought mac n' cheese all the way. Shows you what I know....

Here's to a wonderful and "not-too-spicy" school year!

elevator. We call it the

"n0-no button." While

driving, I hear Jude say,

"There's the no-no sign,

Mommy." I look over and

see Taco Bell.

argumentative mood;

saying the opposite

of anything I said, so I

tried to distract him and

asked what was on his

shirt....without skipping

a beat, "Not a fish!"

Mommy whispers in Eli's
ear as she often does, "I
love you!" Eli responds,
"I know."

Taking off Mommy's shoe
in church and sniffing,
"OOOO-WEEE Mommy!
Stinky piggies!!"
