Here's Baby Sprout

Theodore James Carson
"Theo"
Born on August 11, 2015 at 9:55 am
9 pounds, 21 inches

Everything went according to plan and Theo was born via my 4th c-section. The first words out of my mouth when I saw him were, "He's huge!" Considering my next biggest baby (Eli) was only 7 lbs 12 ozs, 9 pounds was big.

We immediately fell in love with him. He is beautiful and oh so squishy.

As usual, it took us several days to settle on a name that fit. Theodore is my paternal grandfather's middle name, and though it isn't directly from the Bible as the other boys' names, it still has Catholic ties.

He found his thumb right away!

The brothers were so excited to come and meet him and love on him. Eli didn't want to let him go and would barely let anyone else hold him. He is a great big brother and loves babies. Jude was a little more reserved, but he was very sweet with Theo and wanted to hold him. Jonah has always loved babies and is so proud to be a big brother.

Thanks to Aunt Kristi and Grandpa for helping out with the boys while we were in the hospital and for bringing them by for visits.

It is still sinking in that we are a family of 6 now!

Our last day in the hospital was a quiet one. Just Theo and me as we waited (a long time and not so patiently!) to be discharged. I tried to soak up lots of snuggles and appreciate the alone time with sweet Theo. Things were about to get crazy once we got home.

We did finally break free and officially began our new adventure with 4 boys. Time to find out what our *new* normal will be like.
