Back to School

As if we didn't have enough going on in our lives....getting home from the hospital with Theo on Friday...and then Eli headed off to a new school year that Monday. Whew!

Eli started 3rd grade with his teacher and classmates from last year. His teacher looped up and the entire class chose to go with her. It made for a super smooth transition. The most exciting thing...besides the fact that he is now in 3rd GRADE...is the fact that he has a new classroom in the "new" building.

Jonah just had to get in a picture (or two.)
Can't believe he is in 3rd grade. It makes him sound so old and so big!

A week later, Jude headed off for his first day of 4 year old preschool..a.k.a. VPK in Florida. He is at the same school as last year and has a wonderfully sweet teacher this year. He was excited and nervous...and not feeling the photo shoot. The thought of this boy heading to kindergarten next year is just too much. Thank goodness I have a year to get used to the idea. He is going to school five days a week now, and I can't stand it! He doesn't seem mind it though, and I guess that is more important.

Jonah was equally excited about Jude's first day of PK4
Both of my big boys are off to a great start and are enjoying the school year.

We can't forget to mention Jonah! He started another year of Mom's Morning Out at our church and waltzed right in; never looked back. He's a pro already. And he graduated!!  Out of his crib and into his toddler bed on account of the fact that Mommy couldn't lift his 35 (!!) pounds in and out of the crib while recovering from her c-section. He has done amazing in it. Really. I guess this means he is a becoming an actual big boy...since he wears big boy underwear these days and sleeps in a big boy bed. *tear.

All of these firsts were worthy of a celebration. A fro-yo celebration. Yes. Yum.
