Welcome to the World

My sister had her baby!!!  Sweet Davis Mitchell Lotspeich decided that at nearly a week overdue, he was ready to come on out and meet his family. He was born last Thursday, July 26th and weighed 7 pounds 12 ounces.

This little guy, as cute as he is, gave us all a scare.  The poor thing had trouble breathing from the start and was immediately taken to the NICU.  Davis had bilateral spontaneous pneumothorax (collapsed lungs) and possibly pneumonia. He needed a chest tube and treatment immediately.  But he's a fighter, for sure, and in less than a week, he was discharged.  Thank you, Lord!  He has healed so well and so quickly.  Proud parents, Theresa and Ricky, could not feel more blessed to be home with their two boys. Big brother, Asher, was thrilled to get to have his baby Davis home at last.

Yay for being an aunt again!  Can't wait to snuggle this precious munchkin in person.  Soon.....very soon.
